Devyn + Tori

Devyn and Victoria are a young artistic duo from Seattle. Each of them have a gift for creating. Devyn's craft is music producing and photography, while Victoria is an already established fashion designer that has her own online business, Tori Dany Designs. Together they're an energetic couple that have boundless imagination and skill to create beautiful content as one. I had the pleasure of taking their photos and doing a mini interview about how Studio 7117 became about, also their marriage life and favorite things to do as husband and wife.

Interview

How did you guys meet?

V: We knew of each other in high school. One year, I (Victoria) curated a fashion show and asked Devyn to model. He said he would do it only if his friend would model with him. His friend backed out, but Devyn still did it because he secretly loved me (haha, his words not mine). It was not until a few years later that we got together and now we're happily married with a baby.

What attracted you to one another?

V: Devyn was always so sweet. He had a charm that I didn't see in anyone else. The way he spoke to people, made me knew he was raised right. Oh, and he's a looker. There's something about his eyes that pierce into your soul when he looks at you.

When did you get married?

D: We got married on July 1, 2017. (07/01/17) We love the number 7 (hence, STUDIO 7117)!

How’s marriage and parenting so far?

V : The married life is amazing and being parents has changed our lives. Marrying each other has been the best decision ever. We love calling each other husband and wife, and being mommy and daddy to Apollo. Watching him grow is so beautiful. He is smart, curious, happy, strong, and sweet. He has the best qualities of both of us.

How would you spend your weekend in Seattle?

Any advice on marriage?

D: Communication and talking about everything helps one another understand. Keep on chasing each other and make one another feel loved and wanted. We're both adventurous and open minded, so trying new things with each other is enjoyable. Also, finding out your specific love language helps (look up five love languages)! ~fin~
